About
I want to see part of South America, at least. I am retired, and I would like to settle in Argentina for a few years.
I am interested in knowing what the real cost of living in Argentina is. It is said that the Argentine peso fell in relation to the North American dollar (US$), however I look for information on apartment and house rentals, and house sales and I find that the cost would be equal to the cost in Puerto Rico, or the United States. I want to know if the prices that real estate companies for sale or rent advertise on the Internet are real, the same as if I were in Argentina and looking to rent or buy, or if they inflate them so that people pay more if they are guided by the offers on the Internet.
On the Argentine government's page to guide potential immigrants, it says that a foreign citizen must have a monthly payment equivalent to $400 from the United States. So how can it be that the costs are the same as those of the US if the $USA has a higher value that is close to six times the Argentine peso.
For me it is very important to know this information well because I am really interested in going to live in Argentina.
