About Activity

I am originally from Tokyo, Japan. I grew up mostly in Tokyo, but I also spent some time in LA and Singapore growing up. I went back to LA again when I was in college through an exchange program. Through my husband's job, I have lived in Senegal and Okinawa, Japan, Washington, D.C., Jakarta, Indonesia, Mumbai, India and currently back to Virginia in the U.S. My husband and I have 3 children. I am currently a stay-at-home mom. It's hard to keep a career in this very fluid life where I stay in one city for 2 to 3 years while following my husband for his job. I love it and I would not change it for anything else, but it hasn't been easy. I have been thinking about what I can do and what is it that makes me happy. The answer is in my most recent preoccupation, blogging. I feel that I finally found what makes me who I really am and what makes me fulfilled and feel proud of and enjoy the job as a stay-at-home mom.
