I am currently a general practitioner in solo private practice. I also assist an orthopaedic surgeon and do air ambulance and medical repatriation work on an occasional contract basis. I recently worked for Europ Assistance as a private hospital auditor in the Africa region. For 10 years I ran an air ambulance service for Europ Assistance South Africa. I have worked as a surgeon and as an anaesthetist in the state hospitals in South Africa. I have extensive experience in emergency medicine in private hospitals in the Johannesburg area, and even ran the emergency units at 2 hospitals. In addition to my medical degree, I have a B.Sc (Med), a Diploma in anaesthetics, Diploma in Primary Emergency Care and ACLS
