About
I come from Aurillac, Auvergne region, I have been based in Noum茅a as an assistant since August 2012 for a 4-year contract with my husband and my children. We like it, the beaches, the islets, everything is there.
Our 4-legged companion came to join us in March 2013 through the quarantine reopened since March.
If you don't like the obstacle course, refrain, protocol and regulations very complex and above all expensive. Veterinary costs (blood test + vaccines) freight forwarder (ticket + cage) local tax and finally quarantine (10 days instead of 30 phew)
Now when we love we don't count.
Life in New Caledonia is expensive, difficult to get by when the salary is not indexed.
I thought when eating local it was cheaper and well local is the same price as imports.
For packages coming from orders on the internet or others via OPT, go through Customs for taxes depending on the amount, ouch!!!
Now it must be said that on the rocks it is good to live there, both for its climate, it is almost always nice, its side is not a headache, close to Australia and New Zealand, so in the end we cannot have everything.....
