Good morning. I finished a secondment in Mayotte on 07/10/2014, as a specialist teacher. I will have to join the Montaigne school in Cotonou at the start of the 2014/2015 school year as a resident, for 3 years, with my husband. We of course ask ourselves lots of questions!! We did some research on the internet to get some answers... Our big concerns at the moment are - the world of work (my husband, a building painter in mainland France and a school assistant in Mayotte, fears he will not be able to find work near Cotonou)?? - the school start date (in order to organize our trip as best as possible)?? - accommodation (we would like a small furnished house near the school)?? - and questions like: car - not car? easy internet access? easy to find clothes and medicines? budget to plan when arriving?... Thank you for any information you would like to provide us.
