Hello my name is Florian I am 27 years old, I am currently in Bordeaux and I am looking for work in fire safety. Why the expat? a good question :). We often have childhood dreams of traveling, of going to the ends of the world and experiencing adventure and then we grow up and we say to ourselves: come on, it's not serious! And then two of my close friends are going to Australia, others have already been there and that's when we start dreaming again and say why not!! :) I don't yet have a family to support, a little wife to take care of, a professional future that isn't well mapped out, so it's now or never!! Before that? I was a Paris firefighter for 6 years, a busy life, at 100,000 miles an hour, between the Parisian rhythm and the very specific mentality of firefighters. But without getting into over-the-top philosophy, I think we create this frantic pace out of fear of boredom, fear of not experiencing things when in the end it's quite the opposite, we no longer take the time to appreciate the simplest joys, chasing futile material happiness.
