So here I am, my name is Fanny, I am originally from Lille but have lived in Paris for 5 years. The desire to leave Paris arises because I don't feel particularly comfortable in this city and I miss the atmosphere of the north. I already had the experience of living abroad during my last year of study in Barcelona and I have very good memories of it! Now I would like to possibly try my luck in Brussels, which is a city that attracts me but that I don't know much about yet. I work as a computer graphic designer and textile designer. At the moment I have a lot of questions. What are the possible professional opportunities in this city and in my field of activity? Is it easy or not to find screen printing workshops or other artists' workshops, to imagine artistic collaborations, to start a small business? Overall, are meetings easier than in Paris? And many other questions for which I am looking for answers through blogs like this one and through the experiences of friends who have gone to live in Brussels!
