About
I'm a Canadian woman who first visited La Ceiba, Honduras in 2004 and immediately felt welcomed and accepted by the people and the culture. Up north, I live in the bush doing some major gardening, harvesting and processing of healthy foods, including poultry and small livestock. I spent my working years primarily in the construction trades, as well as some time early on as a preschool teacher. I've two grown "kids" in late 20's and early 30's and am blessed to be very close with them as individuals. Since 2004 I've lived every winter here in Honduras and am planning to do so for as long as I can live and travel independently (live with severe arthritis). My basic philosophy is: live, love, learn and laugh!
Interests: writing, living simply, Photography, gardening, volunteering with children, teaching, cooking
