My name is Terry and I will be living in Austin, Texas by the end of October, 2010, having spent the last 25 years in the Alaskan Bush working with Native Alaskans and health issues. I studied cultural anthropology at the University of Alaska, with a focus on medicine and history. My children are both grown, and one is in college in the USA. I actually have changed my plans since the original post here, and now will be offering tutoring services, as well as helping with English as a second language and assisting with essays needed for college classes in Austin, Texas. I would like to extend a welcoming hand to any exPats or to anyone coming in from out of the country and to help, for a small fee, with finding a home, autos, acquiring housekeepers, maids, chefs, lawn services and nannies. I may also be of assistance in familiarizing newcomers to the many faces of Austin, Texas, my hometown. In a year or two, I plan on going to Switzerland to meet with my sister-in-law and travel in Eastern Europe so I am looking forward to talking with people from there. Many thanks!
