Hi. My name is Muriel and I come from Cameroon. It will soon be 4 years since I left my country to pursue higher education in the Emirates (Abu Dhabi). I admit that at first I felt totally out of place because obviously the culture and the environment are different from what I experienced in my country. Apart from that I find that the Emirates are an exceptional country because there is an impressive cultural diversity. As a result, we try to study and appreciate the behavior of this or that other human group. It's true that sometimes, like everywhere else, we feel the blues and nostalgia. However, I don't regret coming to this country because I consider it a bit like my host country. It allowed me to mature, to look at things from another angle. In any case, it is a country that must be visited.
