Recently retired couple who love Costa Rica having been there at least 4-5 times to rent a villa for a period varying between 2 weeks and 1 1/2 months. We would love to spend 4 to 6 months during our harsh winter in Quebec but the rental is prohibitive for our means. So we are looking for an apartment and/or villa near the beach near Tamarindo which would be less expensive. So far we have paid $1400 US per month and would like to pay well under $1000 so we could really stay in the heat for a long time. We are really tired of these winters here. THANKS!
