In Pau I attended L'Universit茅 de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour and lived with the most wonderful family you could ask for (Domi and her son Yann). While there I also met my husband, Luke, who was working as an English teacher and translator for one of the large companies there, incidently my maman fran莽aise was his boss. :)
Student
Pau was the perfect location to live. I was half-hour to an hour away from the mountains and the same distance away from beaches. That meant I was skiing every weekend in the winter months and working on my tan every weekend during the summer.
It seemed to rain everyday, at least during the Winter months. Most days I loved it, but there were some days when you would think to yourself "enough is enough!"
