Hello, We are a couple of French teachers living in Casablanca for 1 year. In fact, we asked to teach abroad via the AEFE network. With great joy, we learned 15 days ago that my husband, an PE teacher, was recruited by the French high school in Calgary. So we arrive in the second half of August to get our bearings. We have a son Arthur who is 15 years old and who will attend the French high school. As for me, I'm talking about working in a primary school. Here is some information about our little family in order to visualize my future questions a little better.... Could you enlighten me regarding the administrative procedures to be done in order to be able to work in Calgary....I read a lot of things, but there are gray areas concerning where to start our procedures and by whom this must be done.... Based on your experience, where should you start? Diploma certification or the famous IQAS or the TQS? In short, it's as if I had quite a few pieces of a puzzle without having the instructions!!!! We are also looking for accommodation in a very pleasant area, could you recommend certain areas? Concerning the climate, is it very difficult to adapt?
