Im an Aeronautical Engineer & have worked with technicians while supervising their work on aircraft, equipment & remained involved in planning/coordinating/executing/supervising technical activities/projects. I supervised maintenance/rectification of aircraft inducted in a Maintenance Repair & Overhaul for repair/servicing/scheduled inspections. I also helped in resolving technical problems arising during aircraft maintenance. As Maintenance Manager I was responsible for maintenance, accountability, modifications of aircraft equipment/vehicles/consumables etc. Incidents at ground/during flight were investigated &compiled with findings & recommendations in form of a report. Implementation on recommendations was then followed up till identified causes & weaknesses were addressed. During maintenance, Quality Assurance staff was utilized to ensure all essential requirements including serviceability of aircraft systems, configuration, airworthiness & safety were ensured. We've searched, procured & arranged transportation of required aircraft equipment & were responsible for its technical identification/preservation. As Director Training trained, groomed & motivated technicians to enable them perform as per jobs' requirements. We also conducted Need Analysis to decide scope of training for candidates before imparting desired technical skills. To verify technicians' abilities to perform as competent aircraft mechanics candidates were theoretically tested & practically evaluated through a standard evaluation system. I also got developed, updated & utilized training manuals, precis, e-lectures, Computer Based Training & question bank to conduct training in an effective manner. As Project Manager got developed components of aircraft &equipment. As Field Manager looked after, groomed, trained & supervised work of skilled/semi-skilled technical/support staff. As Contract Manager conducted feasibility study, drafted, got approved, administered Engineering Development Contracts. As Director Field Training I handled responsibilities, established procedures &undertook a number of training related projects briefly mentioned in my CV
