Just starting out and adjusting. Hope to learn Russian and Kazakh as everything that counts here is in those two languages. I have learned the Cyrillic script for Russian.
Physics Teacher
The people are helpful. The bus system works and helps one to save a lot on transport. The town is beautiful and the food is tasty. There is much liberty here and you should come and see for yourself. People want to learn the English language and many want to take photos with me.
It is really warm during the days in August and temperatures hit 39 deg Celcius in the last week. There is much bureaucracy if you want service in some public offices. I have only heard about the subzero temperatures of winter. Temperatures fall to -30 degrees at some pooint. Ooooooooooh!
