Hello my husband and I have been living in Miami for 15 years and we decided we wanted a change especially now that we have a baby. My husbands family is from Lebanon and felt being close to family would be good for our baby. We will be here for some time to test the waters and see if we like it enough to stay living here. My husband has already found a job and I am at home taking care of baby. We want expat opinions of life here. We were told it was less expensive here than states and we could live a better life. I'm starting to look around for apartments in the jbeil area and feel like they are renting as same price as Miami. I know clothes are very expensive here but what about rent and everything else? Is it safe here? Your thoughts please! Thank you
