I am 63 my work is my own. I have been a mechcanic in germany a cowboy in the sierras of northern california.a student in middle age and a salesman. I was born and raised in new york city and left at sixteen.I traveled across america, a very different country then, and found my self on the central coast of california high overlooking the ocean living in a catholic hermitage.New Camandoli the home to an ancient order of Italian hermits.My true life adventure began there. I escaped the slums of New york city and was transplanted to the beautiful world of the catholic monastery. I had found heaven. The monks taught me about a still mind.
