I was an expatriate American who lived in Republic of Guinea, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt totalling 22 years. I am now looking for a place to retire after more than 50 years of working. I need to find a place with a reasonable cost of living, moderate climate, friendly people, and with an interesting culture. I also prefer a rural setting.
