Hello, I am a 45 year old American psychologist who is licensed in California. I am married to a Dane and have been in Denmark 1.5 years and speak some Danish. I am just starting a private practice with 3 offices in the mid-Jutland area and also can provide long distance counseling on Skype. I can personally relate to the culture shock and challenges of foreigners struggling with adjusting in Denmark because it is common to experience a lot of depression, anxiety, frustration, anger, etc. I have a doctorate and 15 years experience in psychology in a variety of areas, including emotional problems, relationship issues, grief, health issues, parenting, work problems, stress, etc. I am available to provide help to the expat community in English, simply by making initial contact through my email address.
