My wife and I am a retired educators and we were both born in Fogo Island, NL. We have spent the last 10 years teaching in Canada's far north about 250 miles inside the Arctic Circle. We retired in June of 2014 and are researching possible retirement destinations. Ecuador seems very interesting for us as a possible retirement place. We would like to hear about other people's experiences with life in Ecuador and possibly make connections with them.
