coucou everyone! my partner and i are about to move to lima, this september; he is austrian, i am american. his job is sending him (us) over there, for what looks like will amount to at least 6 months if not for 9 or 12. i am a teacher by profession - in the US - and have some experience teaching abroad. i am now TEFL certified, along with my graduate degree/american teaching license. we have both travelled extensively and have both spent a lot of time in latin america. while we are not new to lima.... neither of us spent all that much time there. i am hoping to use this forum as a starting place for ideas - job opportunities, housing availabilities and/or locations, etc. along the way, i am positive other things may come up: visas, having babies abroad, etc... so, just being part of a communal forum - i have found - is advantageous. cheers, in advance! steph
