From the San Francisco Bay Area, (Born in SF) and lived a lot of life on both sides of the law. Have mellowed out in the last few decades. Spent a month as a guest of a Thai family back in May of this year. Have been invited to move to Thailand. I have an "adopted daughter" (three actually) and a couple dozen "adopted" grand-daughters. When I was here I was treated as family, introduced as family, and spent the entire month seeing everything from the Three Sisters to staying with one of my daughters (Kung) rubber tree plantation down near Phuket...and a visit with the rev. something or other chief monk of the Wat on the Royal Palace grounds. I like the country, I like the people, and can respect what needs to be respected.
