My expat journey

le mont-dore, New Caledonia
long live retirement... active!
foster family for almost ten years for children in difficulty in the Southern Province.
but at 57 years old... I stop, with regret but we must give way to younger people.
Currently I deliver newspapers and other leaflets, free publications etc... and I therefore do a complete tour of New Caledonia every week: it's always the same tour and it's different each time! a real happiness, long live the smile and the human warmth of the people of the North!
the pace of life... or rather the sweetness of life even if we work a lot here, much more than in mainland France.
the richness of ethnic diversity
the relationships that seem to be strained between different communities when we have so much to learn from each other
the cost of living
