Hello, I am originally from Marseille in France. I lived in the Bouches du Rh么ne for a long time before leaving to study in Languedoc Roussillon in N卯mes and Montpellier. I am a nurse and this year I am specializing in children to become a childcare worker. I will graduate (if everything goes as planned ^^) in December 2014. Since my nursing studies, I dreamed of doing humanitarian missions to help children around the world in need and discover new landscapes and new cultures. However, I chose to postpone this dream to specialize in children. After taking a trip to Guadeloupe last year with a very good friend (also a nurse), I told myself that I would like to work in the French overseas territories and travel a lot. In the meantime, I met my partner Benji, who is now a more than important person in my eyes, and who follows me in this desire to discover new horizons! He is a salesman and has recently suffered redundancy from his company. We then take this opportunity to bounce back and make a new start elsewhere. Today, I am reaching the end of my studies and I have applied to several French Overseas Territories. Finally !!! We chose to go to Mayotte in February. I would join the neonatology department there!!! We are very excited and also afraid of all this unknown!!! I am expecting support from expat-blog in this stage, mutual help, tips and advice to prepare for our departure and meet people!!!
