I studied German and Romansch at a language school (Migros Klubschule), attended the University of Zurich one semester for fun, and taught English at a language school.

I was born and raised in San Diego, California. I went "away" to school in San Francisco but regularly made the seven-hour drive home. I also spent a few years in Switzerland but was compelled to return to my home city.
I taught 8th and 9th grade English in the public school system for five years and have had other random jobs.
