Planning a long exploratory visit soon to Ecuador with my spouse and young adult daughter. Goal is to find the right place for us to settle in there. We love small rural towns but would love to live within reach of maybe Loja or Quito. Love the beaches but will likely choose a cooler environment. Working on learning Spanish and looking forward to immersion! Look forward also to finding expat friends in Ecuador! After some time exploring the country we will be looking to spend weeks or months in two or three areas to get a real feel for it. Would like to find some work along the way if possible. Open to any kind of work; please let us know if you have something! We are Jack and Jackie of all trades: Husband is an extremely good I.T. guy and both of us are writers. I am an experienced caregiver, specializing in Alzheimer鈥檚 and other types of dementia, and have owned and operated an animal care program for years. Am grateful to have found this community!
