Zurich, Switzerland

New York, USA

Zurich, Switzerland
Switzerland is absolutely beautiful. It has the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. Also, as a resident you can enjoy good food, cleanliness in restaurants, shops, trains, etc as well as outside in the streets, excellent health care and the most efficient public transportation network in the world.
Natives are not always the frendliest. Shopping is kind of blah: no innovative fashion. Hard to find a good stylist (read: someone who won't give you 80s haircuts/highlights.)

Copenhagen, Denmark
Copenhagen is a fairly beautiful city.
It's very flat and windy and the wind picks up drops of water so you end up wet and cold no matter how bundled up you are.

Los Angeles, USA
What's not to like? Sunny and warm, lots of cool places to visit like Mann's Chinese Theater, Universal Studios, Hollywood Hills, Melrose, Santa Monica, Newport... lots to do and lots to see :-)
One word: earthquakes. Oh no, wait: the pizza is pretty awful, too.

Zurich is in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, and while those who dislike German as a language opt for a French course, it won't be much use to you if you live and work in Zurich. There are a variety of language schools in the Zurich area, ... Read More
