I'm Sky, my boyfriend Spider and I will be moving to the Nagoya area of Japan in late February, 2015! I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. I haven't done much traveling yet, an aside from vacations, have mostly been in the Bay Area my whole life. I have been working as a freelance writer, screenwriter and filmmaker/videographer for the past nine years or so, as well as a nanny. My goal has always been to travel the world doing something I'm good at and focusing on my own writing and projects in free time. I begin training in Nagoya, Japan on March 4th and can't wait. My boyfriend Spider will be coming to Japan as well, as a tourist at first, but he is looking into work opportunities in Japan so he can get a work visa. He is originally from the Dominican Republic, grew up in Long Island, and has been living in San Francisco for the last eight years or so. He is an aspiring screenwriter with a background in advertising; and he's a hardcore gamer. We would both love to make friends in the Nagoya area, especially anyone who might have time to meet up and show us around a bit once we get there. We will be arriving in late February, 2015. Thanks!
