We have been writing a blog about Ecuador for almost three years. We seem to have wide acceptance and interest. We live on the beach just a little bit south of the resort town of Montanita. We have an apartment in Cuenca, so we get to see lots of folks we know, whenever we are in that town. Also, we get to drive through the Andes and the Caja National Forest, each way...and that's a thrill in itself.
