I currently live near La Rochelle in Charente Maritime. I am a retired Electronics Engineer. My wife and I rented a house in early December 2014 in Faro Montenegro. We are preparing our departure from France for the beginning of March 2015. My wife is also retired and we have chosen the Algarve as our place of residence with the intention of discovering the other regions of the country. We have already stayed there for 2 weeks and appreciated the quality of the welcome and the kindness of the Portuguese people we met. I speak English and I have started to learn Portuguese.
