My name is Shawn and my wife and I are the directors of a small ministry in Belmopan, Belize which we rn via internet and my mother who volunteered to move down and spend her retirement taking care of teams coming down to serve in Belize. We are really interested in having a second branch of our ministry in Corozal or perhaps Caye Caulker or Placencia...maybe even San Ignacio though we'd prefer to be near the water. We'd really like to have that option for teams coming down to be able to serve in both destinations or one or the other. We're hoping to sell our home here in the states in the next two years and go all in! Working on finances right now ! Would love to hear from expats already living in one of the above mentioned towns tell us some things they'd like to see in those towns (services or other) that may not exist or are not yet up to par...While we trust the Lord to provide it's not like us to sit on our laurels and do nothing. I'd love to provide some type of service like fishing or ??? Though I'm sure there are plenty of options for that in particular I'd love to hear what people think there is a need for... No more winters for us !!
