About

I'm just trying to find out staying in Vietnam or other countries longer than a 30 day passport visit. How does one get immigration documents or status for a long term stay lets say 6 months to a year? I was born in Brooklyn NY grew up in Phila. PA and lived in 15 or more states. Lived in Nicaragua for 9 months and visited Ecuador for one month two different times. Trying to find somewhere I can relax, be at peace and feel comfortable to retire on a limited budget.
Interests: music, meeting new people, scuba, snorkeling, meditation

Occupation

Came up with the idea for the Nicaraguan Canal, couldn't find any backers or supporters so now someone else is building it.
The people were very friendly, the house I rented was really great an old colonial with lots of upgrades but kept to the original design.
Had to leave every 30 to 60 days then return, could not get permanent status. Also did not like the MOSQUITOES or the dust
