My expat journey

Neuqu茅n, Neuquen, Argentina

Since May 2016

Neuqu茅n, Neuquen, Argentina

A job opportunity arose while I was living in Lisbon and I accepted it, since on a personal level things had not worked out. I decided to return to take advantage of the job opportunity temporarily.
I started working for a City Clinic as Community Manager and Brand & Sales Manager. I continue to serve in this role ever since.
Los Vinos, the job opportunity they offered me.
The weather, the people, the city. Not a big fan to be honest.

Find a job, make new friends
Advertising, Web Design, Graphic Design, Video and Sound Editing, Business Design and Image. Community Management, Brand & Sales Management.
The Cod, the Ginginha and the Fado
Things didn't go as planned (on a personal level, not a professional level).

Lima, Lima, Peru

Lima, Lima, Peru

I lived for two months in Lima due to a job offer that arose, and that could be done remotely. My life was divided between work meetings, very long walks around the city, and enjoyment of Peruvian food. I missed the wine a lot: Peru Wine is expensive and bad. And imported wines are very expensive.
They hired me from an Aesthetic Medicine Distribution Company to be their Community, Brand & Sales Manager. I was there coordinating the Business Plan and the strategic guidelines to apply afterwards. I have worked for the Company since then.
A new experience, it was very good, next year I have to return for a month to prepare the Company Plan for 2018. Very polite people, good prices.
Quite behind in general compared to other large cities. Going outside of the city's high-end circles, the rest of the city is a madhouse in every aspect. Having lived in Buenos Aires for so long has set my bar very high when it comes to cities.

Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires F.D., Argentina

Graduated from the University of Palermo (Lic. in Advertising), I lived the first part of my life in Patagonia and the second in Buenos Aires. Now I am looking for new horizons in Portugal, specifically in Lisbon.
I worked from a 5-a-side soccer field, through Media and Advertising Centers and even to a Government Gambling organization.

General Roca, Rio Negro, Argentina

General Roca, Rio Negro, Argentina

We moved by family decision to the city where a good part of our family lived
I worked at a 5-a-side soccer field as an administrator for two years, good times.
It was a much bigger place than my hometown, so it felt like we'd moved to Gotham City, and I liked that: I've always been drawn to big cities.
It was pretty good while it lasted, I don't have any particular complaints.

Departamento de Pic煤n Leuf煤, Neuquen, Argentina

I was born and raised in this town, I attended Primary School and part of Secondary School. A very good place to grow, not to stay.
My only job was to study.
A good space for a child to grow up, empty of all the vices of a big city. The freedom to walk wherever you want (the problem was that if you walked too much you ended up in the middle of the field
The years. When you grow up you realize that the place is very, VERY limited in many ways.
