About

Hey folks! I'm a Finance/Investment Management professional who has just moved to Al Ain to work on an exciting govt. funded project. Don't know much about Al Ain and trying to settle in. Previously I've lived in Dubai and Islamabad, and before that I was in the US for over 5 years to attend college. Would love to meet up with other expats in the area for friendships and exchanging ideas!
Interests: sport, professional networking, meeting new peop, sharing experiences

Worked for various firms in Dubai and briefly in Abu Dhabi, analyzing investment proposals and then subsequently managing corporate portfolios.
Dubai has an amazing variety of top quality restaurants that suit all budgets.
The traffic can get to you.

Tried to get a 4.0 GPA. Let's just say it didn't happen.

Got all my schooling done... Islamabad is a beautiful city surrounded by green hills.
Natural beauty... wonderful hiking trails.
If you don't know anyone, there's not much to do.

Thank you FeeAcer :) I look forward to staying in touch with you and other expats in Al Ain. Seems like useful info on the city is hard to come by here - no local english newspapers or magazines. Read More

Badminton Players by kiepke

I'm a Badminton lover who just spent 6 years in China - I moved to Al Ain this week. Are there any players or any places to play in Al Ain? Please help.

Razz_Matazz

Yeah, I have checked out all the major health clubs here in Al Ain but have yet to see any badminton courts :( Squash and tennis seem to be more popular here. I'm thinking of signing up for golf classes with one of the hotel health clubs. Read More
