I am a Malawian residing and working here in Malawi. Malawi is a country in the region of Central Africa. I am currently working at a coal mining company in Malawi as Senior Purchasing and Logistics Officer, since March, 2013. I have 2 years experienced as Senior Purchasing Officer, dealing with local and international purchasing, 4 years worked as Inventory Coordinator in the Supply Chain (Warehouse Management), 3 years experienced as International Transport Officer / Fleet Management and 5years experienced in Freight Forwarding (Shipping) Management. I am a focused, commercially aware and highly motivated officer, who has a natural affirmity of working within any given management style. I have a track record of driving new initiatives to meet targets. I have both a comprehensive understanding and practical experience in the field of logistics, including warehousing.
