My expat journey

Phnom Penh, Cambodia
I am working at Indigo Psychological Services.
Clinical Psychologist
The other psychotherapists at Indigo are outstanding. I am proud to be with this group.
While I appreciate the intensity and faster pace of Phnom Penh, it has been quite an adjustment given I spent a few months in the laid back atmosphere of Vientiane.

Vientiane, Laos
I volunteered for a short research project at the Vientiane Autism Center.
Clinical Psychologist
This country is laid back. It was a great place to slow down from my overworked life in California.
There is little opportunity and few people in this country, a tough area to make it as a psychotherapist.

California, USA
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in California and Texas. Over the past ten years, I worked with all types of people, from severe to mild mental illness, and in virtually every setting including private practice, hospice, prison, mental hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and schools.
Clinical Psychologist
I love California. I also loved being a psychotherapist in the prison system. It is like being a bright light in a very dark place.
Bureaucracy can be exhausting.
