About
Hi I would like to move my small one man boat repair maint business to Croatia. I understand there is alot of sailing going on. I have spent alot of time living and travelling in Europe. My mother was born in Vienna Austria. But I can not quallify for citizenship or even a work permit, because mothers dont count in Austria. Unfair! Well My heart is in Europe. Not in the US. Nothing wrong with America but I never fit in. I need culture and conversation ,good food, public transportation, clean streets,non-agression people etc. Can you help me with advice. I do have relatives living in Austria and munich GER, so I family to visit. I have some financial support from some small land income in the US but would have to work once I arrived. Boat repair and maint pays good $$ in the USA. Could I net work the Boat Yards and Bars for Yacht jobs on the coast. Or is there alot of regulation. Also can you tell if there is a skills shortage for marine yacht repair. I do not have any financial obligations. Just room and board. I own a small wood sail boat that I live on here in Mystic CT. I am considering to ship it over live on it,just as I do in the USA. That would give me a place to live, and a way to connect with the boating crowd. Maybe day charters. I do not plan to work illegal,or become involved in any such activity. Well I hope I have not confused you to much . Hope to hear from you . Lenny
