hello everyone, I'm not really an expat in reality, but rather an Erasmus student. I'm 23 years old and I'm from Paris, I've been in Budapest for 2 weeks and I'm staying until December. I don't speak a word of Hungarian and I don't plan to learn, no time. And as you can imagine we are a group of 80 students, 40 French and 40 international, so we go out a lot in the evening and during the day we sleep, "when we don't have classes". I would like to discover the other Budapest, that of culture other than alcoholics. The food is bad, we look for butchers where we can buy meat, real meat. I'm starting to have a phobia of paprika so much that it's everywhere!!! The nightlife there is very nice, much more so than in Paris for my taste, even if the average Hungarian is vulgar in her clothing, and the average Hungarian is vulgar in her gestures. happy to be among you!!!
