Hello everyone. Starting in September I have the opportunity to be in Beijing to study Mandarin for 1 year and then start a master's degree in Mandarin at China University of Petroleum. However, I don't know whether to risk this experience since in my country I am working in my area and I have heard that after my study in China it can be difficult to obtain a professional position. Additionally, I am worried about not learning Mandarin in the year covered by the scholarship. I would like to know the opinion of anyone who lives in Beijing.
