About

I am Canadian Jordanian Economist. Graduated from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, USA in 1975 with A PhD degree in Economics. Worked at the University of Jordan for 15 year, then moved to the Arab Gulf region as a consultant for 10 years. in 2000 I and my family moved to Canada and established my consultancy office: Hourani International Development Centre (HICD) (www.hicd.org). Every year I travel from Canada to the Middle East for a couple of months, visiting and conduting business.
