About
Good afternoon :)
I am writing to you telling you the following; At the end of last year I traveled to Santiago, because my boyfriend has lived there for more than 5 years, he has a permanent stay. I wanted to stay with him longer, so I went to the immigration office where I paid a certain amount to extend my stay where they told me that there was no problem in re-entering again. After half a year I travel to Santiago again and the PDI people won't let me enter! The reason they tell me is because I stayed too long in their country, but I paid for those days. Many Chileans stay in Peru and pay 1 dollar per day when the three months are over, then they leave and return to Peru without any problem!! My question is the following:
1.- How can I re-enter Santiago?
2.- Could I marry my boyfriend with permanent permanence to be able to enter without problem?
I went to the Chilean consulate in Peru, they told me that in my passport there was no red stamp preventing entry but that if I try to enter again they might not let me because I already have a record, in conclusion they did not give me any help. I am very distressed.
