Hi my name is Paula.My husband is moving to malta to work for 3 years and i am going with him.My two kids are both at college here in Ireland so wont be moving with us.We visited Malta in May this year and loved it. I am trying to find out as much as i can before we go .We like the south of the island with what we saw and it suits my husband for work.Trying to find out which is nicest area to live in.We lived in Co Clare for many years so we are well used to quite country life.My husband will travel out first and rent somewhere for about 2/3 months,which will give us time to look around to find where we want to settle.I would be very grateful for any advice about life out there and what to expect ..Kind reguards Paula

just passed my test and got a really nice car worth around 3 grand , is it worth bringing to Malta ? Also do I have to put Malta plates on ? Is car insurance cheep in Malta ? Also would it cost a lot to bring it to Malta ? Hope someone can ...

Hi the minimum wage here is 5 euro an hour.Wages are quite poor here so don't bank on 1000 to 1500 a month.The rent is high compared to the wages also depending on where you live and the cost of living g isn't cheap either.Hope that helps ... Read More
