My expat journey

Amsterdam, Netherlands
It is one of the cities that catches my attention, although I don't know much English and even less Dutch, but I am willing to learn :)
I would like to work, live there and make new friends.
The quality of life
Few days of sun

Santiago, Chile
Initially I came with a tourist visa, to apply for a temporary professional visa so I could get a job, everything went well and I currently have my work visa until March 2016 and I am thinking of applying for a permanent visa.
Previously, I worked in Venezuela in the administrative area as an administration supervisor for 5 years. And here; In Chile, although I have experience, I am very efficient and I learn quickly, I feel that they do not give me the opportunity to learn and do more things. I currently work as an assistant accountant in a small advertising company and the pay is not what I expected, although with what I earn I can cover all my expenses.
I really like that the public services work, there is order and the city takes care of the decoration of the streets and squares in general and that you can really trust the police or carabineros as they are called here in Chile.
In general they have treated me well and I have nothing negative to say about the people I have met, although they are not very friendly, you can always find cool people.
The way Chileans speak and their jargon, the little consideration and respect of young people towards adults, the instability in jobs and few benefits that companies offer. I don't see that there is a culture of cooperation between co-workers, I feel that people are aware of what you do to make you look bad.

Caracas, Venezuela
I have all my family there and many friends, I had to emigrate due to the precarious situation that exists today in Venezuela.
After graduating from the University I had three jobs in Venezuela and in the last one I worked as an administration supervisor in charge of 3 people. Sometimes I miss my coworkers a lot since in Chile everything is very different and there is no sense of belonging and friendship with coworkers.
Everything especially going to the beach any day and sunbathing.
The current political and economic situation is increasingly depressing and precarious.
