Having lived in the south of France and especially in Savoie, we retired 7 years ago on the French Riviera. We plan to settle in the Cascais/Estoril area on an almost permanent basis while maintaining a base in the Var. Indeed, having not been able to have a transfer abroad during my professional life and I regret it, my wife and I wish to live such an experience as retirees.
