Indeed, I am a new member although I have lived in Madagascar since 2005. My name is Henri, I am retired and have lived for 10 years with a Malagasy woman and her daughter. I came to Mada in the humanitarian context in 2001 (ex Codev and then ESF) in Morondava to carry out a drinking water and sanitation project (2001-2004). After some projects in Benin, Senegal and a long journey in West Africa, I decided to settle in this beautiful country where I worked until the end of 2014 in several companies: Henri Fraise; EDM; Camusat. Since 2015 I have created a small company SARL VARY & JIRO in Morondava in the field of rice and renewable energy. But as this country is complicated in particular because of difficulties linked to the context and behaviors, I therefore decided to live fully (if I can) my retirement by settling permanently in ANTSIRABE (Tana is too polluted!).
