My husband and I have lived in S. Florida since 1986. He's originally from Mexico and we've often talked about retiring there. He currently owns a veterinary practice in Florida, and we're considering semi-retiring to Ajijic. We're both animal lovers, lovers of Mexico, and excited about relocating. Although our plans haven't totally gelled yet, the plan du jour is for me to live permanently in Ajijic while he bounces back and forth to Florida. As you can imagine, I'm feeling thrilled about the possibilities, bursting with questions, and overwhelmed by the logistics involved!
