About

I am a free spirited Aussie who's partner is Greek, we have a beautiful (but somewhat chatty 4 year old son). We moved to Greece only four months ago to spend time with my partners aging parents, and after coming from Hobart's long cold winters we wanted summer and heat! My partner has LOT'S of friends, maybe too many....and me well, kinda non to call my own! I am still on my L's as fare as learning the language, We make it down to the family's holiday house in Oropos quite frequently, would appreciate a friend or friends to call my own ;-) And not too worried about age, it's only a number.
Interests: art, cooking, property development, gardening, walks, Travelling, camping, building design., Photography, my children, Swimming, architecture

Occupation

I am Self-employed.

My expat journey

australiagreecegreece
Athens, Greece

Since May 2015

Athens, Greece

We are currently in the settling in phase, we still need to buy a car, have just finished furnishing the house. We spent most of our summer at Oropos beaches, and catching up with my partners family and friends.
My career was a building designer. Currently not working, however slowly exploring ideas, might start shaking things up a little soon and see what lands where.
The markets and fresh food, the beaches, and warm weather. The happy welcoming disposition of nearly all Greeks.
Road rage, dirty streets and cramped, slippery uneven pavement.
