Bogot谩, Bogota D.C., Colombia

Dec 2016 - Mar 2017

Bogot谩, Bogota D.C., Colombia

Studying Spanish further in the Spanish capital for a while until another placement takes place.
Unlike Popay谩n, Bogot谩 is big enough to keep you entertained at all times and it's the kind of city that won't leave you feeling bored and with a lack of things to do.
Since it located at the height it is, Bogot谩 is quite cold to say it like that.

Popay谩n, Cauca, Colombia

Popay谩n, Cauca, Colombia

My reason to go here was more than just an excuse to get a new scenery, new culture and to improve my Spanish, but to do so in what in my eyes is the best country in South America for the best latin experience. So, I am going to live here to go to a local school.

Popay谩n has a lot of events monthly around the year in the square of Parque Caldaz in the town centre, which can keep you entertained during the weekends they're held.
Popay谩n is rather small, and a place where you've more or less done everything after being there for about a weekend. After that, it can feel rather boring unless you're okay with going with your friends to the same clubs, restaurants, parks and caf茅s every time you go out.

Oslo, Oslo, Norway

1999 - 2016

Oslo, Oslo, Norway

I grew up and got most of my education here, as well as working with political matters, volunteer work, and working with projects within entertainment.
I've worked with everything from being the one responsible for the artist at certain concert venues, being the host on talent shows, assisting the executives at major concert for acts such as AC/DC and Avicii, and other things more related to business or politics.
I like how there are endless of opportunities, especially for teenagers to get some hands-on education in fields they might wish to pursue later on in life through the use of organisations, where I think Norway might have more organisations than any other place. We also have a wonderful welfare system, and everyone gets free education.
Well, to start off, it is a bit too cold for my taste, and Norway is known for being rather expensive. I wouldn't say that Norway is a place you would want to move before doing your research, or you could probably end up having to return home again broke and jobless.

The Colombian Educational System by khezza

Hello, my name is Krissie. I am moving from Norway to Colombia later this year on my own, and since I am 16, I'm obviously going to attend secondary school, where I decided on choosing a public one instead of an international school. What I was ...

Well, being from Norway, I also wanted to live somewhere different from where I've been brought up, which is one reason for why I moved to the exact place I chose to move to. The reason I was able to move at that age, was because I had a ... Read More

Dear Krissie: The educational system in Colombia is complex. You can go to a public school (where it is now improving in his quality) or to go to the private school (which everybody has the notion, it is the best system). Some school have ... Read More
