I arrived in Essaouira for a change of scenery. I was planning to spend 2 or 3 weeks and go elsewhere. I met great people. We discussed renovation, construction, development. ...we pushed the discussions to the point of decoration. .and since then I have been a builder and renovator in Essaouira. I made lots of friends of almost all nationalities and all religions. I had a few bad experiences too...but a "franchise" category that lacks education. To say the least.
