My husband & I are ex-Californian natives. We moved to Las Vegas 8 years ago because of what was happening in California. We are now be squeezed out of the USA financially. Our health care alone is going up to $1140 a month with a $6200 deductible each. We are getting ready to retire, but can't because we can barely get by every month. Mind you our cars are both paid for and our house is paid for and still are struggling. My husband has been looking at Belize for several years and I have not been open to going to another country. We just finished a cruise to Belize and several people said the only real corruption in Belize is in Belize city. We are very entrepreneurial and the fact that Belize is a developing country makes it even better. We would like to come down and stay for a few months in each of the cities I listed to see where we would like to settle and find out about the country. We also want to rent instead of buying to start. And we have a large dog we are bringing.
